Too many one dimensional characters?

It's starting to seem that, in addition to mike, Galasso and Rick won't have very much depth either. Hopefully they are given the depth of the Roomies and the Walky casts excluding Mike.

Give them some time; I'm sure that they'll get character depth eventually.

Ricks not realy saposed to have depth, But I'm sure Walky might want to dive into the depths of Garlasso's motives at one point.............or mabie not.

Actually, at this point, I'm seriously considering the possibility that Willis (not Walky) isn't aiming for deep, dramatic development. Maybe it's not meant to be taken so seriously. Do any of the characters have any real development? Look at Mike, for example. He's supposed to be dead. His DNA was supposed to be irretrievable, obliterated by the Martians, beyond help of the resurrection chamber. And how is he introduced? "Hey, look, Mike. Aren't you supposed to be dead? Eh, whatever."

Well, they just sort of assumed Mike couldn't be brought back. Maybe they tried harder.

Roomies and It's Walky were funniest when the humor was character driven. The thing about gimmick characters like Ninja Rick....you tell the same joke every time you use them. Same with Mike, except to a lesser extent.

Toy jokes aren't really that funny on their own, especially to people who aren't really into toys. When expressed through a character in a unique way that can only be done with that character, they can be quite funny.

Like today's joke with Ethan and Batman.
