Batman doesn't make everythig better

I gave a big old speech over on the Schlock board about this, but i don't think i need as much here.

here's the short version. Our childhood is being raped. It's disgusting. Herbie, He-Man, Garfield, nothing is safe from the money-grubbing unimaginitive modern media.

The Batman sucks. It's the most horrible thing that has been done to Batman since.... well hell, i don't know. it's worse than when they turned him into a merman.

Actually, my friend Liquid Velcro really enjoys the series, and my Canadian friends say the second season is several spiffies.
