I've been somewhat indisposed myself. Actually, our InSinkErAtor broke, so I've been indisposaled. But then I had to give some legal testimony, and got indepositioned. After that, I was playing in the yard with my daughters, who knocked me down into the flowerbed, so I was in-de-posies-ed.

Wow. That last one hurt me, too. See what happens when you keep me away from the forum for too long?

I'm loving the art in the current story (Meet the Smalleys), by the way.

And an admission: I think I'm partially to blame for the Monday-Strip-On-Tuesday business, having glommed some of the creator's time this weekend for personal gain. My apologies for causing Frank an extra day's exposure to those digestive juices.

It's good to see that the forum is up and running again!

Lets get back to the basics and post (no pun intended DrScottie)

Keep America Singing!

Grandpa, you obviously know DrScottie to be a Poster who knows his Kraft. Did you know his favorite song is Blue Velveeta? And I understand he does all his computing on an iMac-nCheese.

OK, that last one's just nuts. The Dr would NEVER use an iMac.

Did I mention it's good to be back?

Did I mention I love the art in this story?

Did I mention I'm running in the NJ Senate Republican Primary?

Leave the world better than you found it. Vote for me!

A-Dad -

running for State Senate, eh? that's pretty cool! If'n I still lived in Jersey, you'd have my vote.

Whereabouts, generally, North, Central or Southern NJ?

Actually, Major, I haven't the patience for public office. I would want to run as a Republican and promote fiscal resposibility, but it seems that's out of favor nowadays, with the two major parties in my homestate headlocked in a debate about pet laws that all seem to require constitutional rewrite. I also find my social positions turn many republicans off -- mostly those who have forgotten that our party is formed on the basis of minimal governmental intervention, and that our role is NOT to enforce a particular tradition of life. Beware the "Conservative" who tells you that their belief system needs to be legally enforceable lest society slide into the morass.

WHOOPS! Meant to post this one to instapundit. SORRY!
