No more puns for 2001.
Now we must do for 2002.
I'd like to warn all loyal L&F readers that since L&F is now entering its third year of existence, we can expect it to throw itself down on the floor occassionally and cry for no reason. Also, we should expect it to ask "Why" on the order of 7 times per minute ( = appx. twice per frame)
Of course, this toddling comic comes from good stock, so it should get through this stage quickly.
Aside to Matty: You continue to be worthy of admiration. Keep it up.
----------------------------
Leave the year Loster and you Found it.
[This message has been edited by AccordionDad (edited 01-03-2002).]

Maybe I'm going through pun withdrawal, but am I missing something in the translation here? I get the gist of what Dad is trying to do, but "Leave the world loster and you found it?"
'Splain, Lucy!

Apologies to those who've come to expect a higher level of pundom within these walls. I was going to post something deeply philosophical about how searching throughout life is life's true meaning and how can you search without getting lost, therefore "Loster and you Found It" -- maybe quote Kirkegaard and paste in some late Warhol....
But the fact is I liked the way this line sounded. So that's it.
I hereby hand over my PunCoLand Charge Card for debitting by the Captain of the Pun Police.
Hoping to post fewer Tylenol/Beat-Poetry induced puns in 2002, I remain your ever-loving --
A-Dad
----------------------------------
Leave the world better than you found it, which in this case means taking a little more care in selecting the verbage of your taglines, you miscellaneous moron.
[This message has been edited by AccordionDad (edited 01-07-2002).]

Post some late Warhol?
Was he late again? How rude! Some people have no consideration at all!
Philosophy - sure, that's okay.
Pundom - definitely!
I can get philosphy anywhere. But where else can I get this level of professional, top quality, high-grade pundom? Bring it on A-Dad. You da best!
And especially with this new topic, I mean it's a really heavy topic, I am hoping to see you weigh in with some great puns. You are going to pound out some great ones on your keyboard, I just know it. There are people who are infatuated with your style of puns and corny jokes.

First, it's always nice to know your heroes think highly of you. Padre and Major, you touch me close to the heart. Somewhere in my left lung, to be precise.
Second, I realize I'm opunionated, but please... I'm no pundit. I leave that to the loud hosts of those Punday morning TV shows: Meet the Puns, the McMilligan Group, and like that...
Third, there's no reason to push our punishment off the scale, this forum is unbalanced enough as it is.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to pick up these rust flakes I've just shed to the floor, and get myself ready for the year.
AccordionDad, reporting for duty.
------------------
