It's not MAD science...just disappointed.

Heh. Every once in a while, it's good to be reminded that behind the goofiness, Gav is an evil genius.

Gav lacks the thing that most Evil Geniuses lack to be feared - competent minions.

Yes, but she'll interpret them the way she chooses.

I'll bet he picked the key off the cop's belt while she was sitting there on the other side of the pole from him. ;-P

I'm betting after the last time in cuffs, he took some time to study up on his escape artist moves.

Heh, the only problem that brings up is how did the stripper NOT know that stripper cuffs had a release on them? ;-P

She was a bit stressed out.
Have you ever seen those police videos? In one of them they showed a bank that, when someone tries to rob it, a metal shield shoots up from the teller desk to the ceiling, in the blink of an eye. I think it was in Britain.
Anyway, a criminal tried to rob the bank, the shield shot up, and he tried to push his way through a door marked "pull". Even criminals aren't that stupid, he was just so stressed that he didn't realize the simplest of things (plus he thought that the security system also locked the door. The bank wouldn't do that, it would put the other customers in danger).
They then showed another criminal who did exactly the same thing, except he was successfully able to force his way through the door by breaking it down. It would have been much easier to just pull instead of push, push, push, push, kick, kick, kick, push, and then slip out through the twisted opening. Like said, he was a bit too stressed to actually think.
Portia was similarly stressed from criminal activity.

If that was directed at me, then no. I hadn't even heard of "Snatch" in the context of something you watch until you asked.
What I was refering to was the shows that show actual, real footage from traffic cameras, security cameras, and the cameras pointing out the windshield of police cars.

I'll only say that not everyone is aware of the safety release on novelty handcuffs. If you've always just used the key, you might never even notice. Nor can it be assumed she uses the handcuffs frequently as anything but an accessory (though it's more fun to think the opposite).
