Hiker Recognition Moment

I earn my keep by teaching english to quebec office workers. Sometimes I do this in person, sometimes over the phone.

I started with a new student today, over the phone. We started off in a textbook "first business meeting" way ....you know "what are your goals for this course" "how did your last teacher work" that kind of thing. then we got to talking about more general things, because he likes conversation practice. A few minutes in, he mentions that he likes to go north of Quebec City because there's alot of woods there. *ding* So I asked him "Do you like camping?". Turns out he does, and then we were off to the races. I think we're going to do well in this course, since we have alot to talk about...also, he told me about some really good trails up north which I HAVE to try come summer.

So what I want to know is, have any of you had moments like this?
We need wilderness whether or not we ever set foot in it. We need a refuge even though we may not ever need to go there.
