Hi Bob,
Well, winter is upon us, the frost is on the melons, and it is once again time to start heat-sealing the old house.
Since last year, though, I have acquired a new girlfriend who is very fond of plants, and under her good auspices I have myself gathered a large number of green leafy friends to call my own. They're all quite pleasant, except for the Triffid, but it's easy to manage with a flaming torch and a long pitchfork.
My question is: does that clear shrink-when-heated plastic stuff that you put over the windows to improve your "R" rating alter solar radiation at all? Will I be harming my plants by blocking out delta rays or gamma beams or somesuch?
Thanks as always in advance,

------------------

No harm to plants, but says here there's a 25% chance of something called "penile stultification". I'll read up on it and let you know.
