A security update was installed on the operating system for the primary server that runs keenspot. Due to some unforseen change in a configuration, DNS services failed to start, which led to a chain of services not starting. This has been resolved.

The same security update was installed to comicgenesis.com, unfortunately when the server restarted it decided to do a filesystem check and is undergoing this check, no estimated time is available.

Hello, not sure if this is the right thread for this, but the title suggests it should be, so here goes:

A number of people have reported that there is a problem with the account creation process - they are unable to register for a new account here on Keenspot due to some kind of bug preventing the new account creation procedure from completing. It's been described as occurring immediately after the terms of use in the registration procedure, and as "apparently an incompatibility between mod_security and phpbb".

Can anyone advise please.
