No no no. It's an expression meaning that you're dressed like a colour-blind man who wants to make a statement. A really *loud* statement.

But then, everyone was dressing that way, so the loud statement just got lost in the noise.<P>Strange expression, though.
I'd never have thought of the ace of spades as colourful.
