World Domination is a subset of Film Studies?
As if Hollywood has all the answers.
Seriously, that course should have Marketing as a prerequisite.

Mike: I think the Peter Wiggin course, is Advanced Global Domination. Which would explain why it'd be in the english department. Only so many people can stand to go that far and still consider themselves normal.
Though in terms of the Intro to World Domination, I'd have assumed it would be contained within the Religous Studies Department.(I'll probably get flamed for that joke)
-----
Another joke at this point would be
Just asking to be hurt.

Nope its in the Political Science department, we have at my university such wonderfull classes as

PS 318 MEDIA OPINION & VOTING
Or how to convince idiots to vote for you
PS 325 POLITICS AND THE LEGAL ENFORCEMENT OF MORALS
Or how to make other people agree with your beliefs at gun point
PS 343 CONFLICT & COOPERATION IN WORLD POLITICS
How to blow up your enemies while convincing the world your just doing pest control.
We also have other classes with the wonderfull titles such as "Power And Transitions" which detail succesfull means of both violent and non violent shifts of government. Today the country, TOMORROW THE WORLD!
We have more I know Ive been sitting in classes were we discussed OWPs (Orbital Weapons Platforms) and we were pevish with the engineering students to stop their weird pranks and build this stuff so we could use it to take over the planet. The engineers then get all flushed with power and then we have to start speaking in bad accents remind them the "state" can find their families, and their hidden booze stash.. THAT one always gets em.
Yes many poli sci majors are psycho SOB's but hey, they MAKE us read Machiavelli what the you expect?

It's probably for the better that he is ineligible. I don't think he has the drive to take world domination. He's always struck me as being a very static person. Perhaps even lazy. And a bit of a procrastinator.
And he's neither evil enough or holy enough.
He should go eat some potato chips.
Wapiko-chan
*The flavor today is honey barbecue*
------------------

*feels forehead itching, like he is growing horns . . . *
Joe might be ideally suited to a career in politics. Democratically elected officials generally must have two endearing traits:
1) They must not be smart enough to keep hidden agendas secret.
2) They must lack the strength of character to be truly and irredeemably evil.
"Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they need, and deserve to get it good and hard."

This must be more of that artistic license Josh has been going on about. I'm a Cinema Studies major, and I have yet to be eligable for a single class focusing on World Domination.

I can't resist taking this opportunity to plug the gaming sourcebook GURPS Illuminati University, which includes a complete course catalog in such wonderful departments as Military Science and Cost Overruns (including the class MSCO622 - "Police Actions: Having a war without inviting Congress"), Inapplicable Mathematics, Misanthropology (the study of the inferiority of everybody else's culture), and Genetic Engineering (which includes the classic class GE100 - Bringing Good Things to Life).
There aren't enough good vicious parodies of American Universities out there...
--Michael
