This *probably* won't be my last as well as first attempt.

Okay, I realized what I found so odd about the colouring.
1) Alan's hat. The folds have been completely concealed. Try to fix that.
and 2) The eyes! They... aren't white! So yeah, fix that too.

That's a problem I had, some of the lighter lines would get lost with the colour.
I'd appreciate hints/tips/suggestions from other colourists on how to keep the lines so clear.
As for the eyes, Ill try to touch that up sometime tomorow, or over the weekend.
Thnx for the feedback, keep it coming

Alan went as Bob and/or Doug Mackenzie and brought a couple of beer bottles to make his costume all the more authentic.
He's already thrown up a few times and his eyes are bloodshot now.

My method for colouring is:

Invert and convert the image to an alpha channel/mask (however your particular software does this, I wrote a script for GIMP to automate it) to produce a line art layer

Make a copy of the line art layer for quick reference/highlights/screwups

Remove shading

This is a tricky step and hard to explain

select all white areas

grow selection one pixel

unselect any thick lines that are still selected

Invert Selection

use colour curves to bring all fairly lightly shaded areas to white

repeat until you get somthing like a colouring book

colour in on various lower levels using Magic Wand (select from lineart and then move to correct layer), Bessier Curve(my primary tool), and Pencil

If there are hair highlights, or the TH logo on DD's hat

Go back to the backup layer of the shaded lineart

Invert the layer AND the mask (the mask should now be the positive image, the layer should be solid white and the overall effect would be white for white and black for transparent

Use the colour curves to set the suroundings of the highlite to black and the highlite to white

Select the highlight and delete all the rest of the layer

fiddle with layer mode and opacity to get a good effect
