Incredible. The shading is particularly well done. Although I feel compelled to wonder how it was possible for Our Good Cartoonist to choose just one favourite piece of fan art from the 150+ that were uploaded for the second anniversary? There are so many that I find absolutely incredible, by nearly every artist in the catalogue, that if someone asked me to choose one favourite, I'd probably react as though I were taking my final exams!
Very well done, Tristyn (if, indeed, she reads the forum), and also all of the other artists whose work formed part of this update. I don't say it often enough, but I for one find the multitudinous works of fan art that "Avalon" inspires to be some of the most stunning works of fan art inspired by any sample of any medium.
K.A.H.
Personally I'd take some of the works of fanart in this update over any fanmusic any day.

Here's my absolute favourite fan art from the new batch: http://www.avalonhigh.com/art/fanart/tristyn01.html
Apparently Mizu's friend, Tristyn, drew this up and gave it to her... and Mizu just handed it to me last night, and it subsequently floored me. :-) Take a look for yourself...
Heh, Tristyn even got Ceilidh's nose down perfectly. :-)
JOSH.

That is some incredible art. I am amazed. If Trystyn reall is twice as good now, we must require further art of her.
I do have a question, Josh: with all the fanart updates of all kinds, did you consider adding some other art like the 'draw Mr Bradly contest' art? Some of that is pretty good (and some of it, less good, is mine, so I do have a personal interest in it).
Just curious.
Congratulations on two years of awesome twistiness. You better draw another comic when Avalon ends, or I suspect there will be a mob out to lynch you. ;-)
------------------

That is the most incredible, slam me to the floor, jaw dropping, absolutely perfect, did I say incredible yet, piece of art I have seen. My brain simply cannot find any adjective which would not do a diservice in describing how absolutely magnificent that piece is. And I'm not even someone who's very interested in art to begin with!
Just... wow.
It's so perfect I don't even want more, because I couldn't ever get tired of such perfection...
Hell, I'm even writing this stupid, babbling post! That's how much I like it!
*goes off to swoon, wow, etc. over picture*
