I think the drawing of Mrs. Page in panel 1 and that of Mr. Bradley in panel 2 are my best renditions of those two characters to date. Whee. :-)
JOSH.

The first thing that struck me about the strip was that Mr. Bradley's face was really good in panel #2.
I was a bit confused to what Joe's mom was doing in the first panel, but I get it now. ^_^
I liked how you could see resemblances between the parents and the children. Super cool.
Should we be doing story discussions as well?
KN

Personally, I'm surprised that Mr Bradley didn't know about Mrs Page's husband running off. Even if Mrs Page didn't tell him, I'm surprised he didn't hear through the local gossip chain. Still, it sounds like he's been too busy worrying about problems with his own marriage.
There's still foreboding in the air...
And the artwork's good too...
---

Mr. Bradley does indeed seem preoccupied with his own problems.
Todays strip is good. I'd say it's not just the artwork, but the way that the artwork and dialogue comes together. Mrs. Pages expression of casual disinterest, the way Mr. Bradley is totally absorbed with telling about his troubles. I keep thinking about her little slip-up in the previous strip ('James?'), and the last panel: will Mrs. Page soon have a problem keeping her cynical facade together?

quote:
Originally posted by Josh Phillips:
