Speculation Daily Update: 23/04/Y7/Q

As many of you may by now be aware, our neighbours in the El Goonish Shive forums are bracing for an assault by the relentless forces of Evil Overlords United. EOU is a comic like no other, dedicated to nothing less than total conquest of all webcomics everywhere. Dozens of strips are engaged in fighting their evil depredations, and many have fallen.

EOU has boasted of its agents in the EGS fandom, and recently pulled off a daring raid on their TF-weapon storage warehouses. EGS, for their part, have called for aid from any allies they can find.

We chose to answer.

Or to put it in OOC words, in lieu of their parent comics the CRFH and EGS forums are joining the Crossover Wars event. This is why I hijacked the Metaverse thread, and why various people have been getting strange PMs over the last two weeks.

Stay tuned. This one's gonna be as spectacular as we can make it...

People who are fed up with unreadably small font may wish to look here. For those who POST such text, however, this is not an excuse. Surely 6-pt gets the point across without requiring shenanigans to read?

I may not have shot a gun!

No problem.

There's also the "On the current state of the metaverse" thread, but since that's in this forum I assumed you'd already seen it.

You always have choice. you can be present in the fight, in which case you will be fodder, no matter how much the oldies say otherwise, or you can run the hell away, and come back later with a story about how you infiltrated the EOU and wrecked chaos from inside. For you to volunteer to be fodder confuses the hell out of the oldies: remember, the only reason they are oldies is from self preservation instinct.

But whatever you know. Go and be a martyr if it suits you. Just be prepared for your comical death to be quoted and replayed all over the forums with a slightly less than respectful tone.

with respawn, you can even choose the type of death most suited your personal tastes >.>
and you get to try as many as you like before you settle on any one of them.

here, have this catalogue of common types of death, and their current rating on the review forms handed out in medical after respawn.
...well, how else are we to learn if you dont fill out forms evaluating the effects

im sure youll notice old age isnt represented, as we havent had any feedback on that yet. but eaten by grues and accidentally turned into a chicken(beeing eaten optional) is quite popular so far
