Heh. So are you saying that the spouse was also genderswapped in that link I posted? Or they were married in a country which allows homosexual marriage?

Well thats the first link I got was labeled as the lyrics being by echo and the bunnyman. Looking back now though at their wikipedia entry, I see that it says "Their cover of The Doors' song "People Are Strange" is included in the film (as well as on the film's soundtrack) The Lost Boys."

Well in any case, it is the correct answer for what is given, as they are the ones who did it for that movie.

No, no, I said you didn't hear it performed by the Doors, though they originally made it. Echo and the Bunnymen performed it for the movie you saw.

True but I should probably get both versions so as to hear the difference. Which is likely a large one. Plus if I don't get The Doors version my friend who's a fan of The Doors will bludgeon me to death.

Trust is the hardest currancy to come by, and the easiest to spend.
If I were to go into detail about what I know about AO, that would violate a good deal of trust that certain people have placed in me, that took a good long time to cultivate. For now, I will simply suggest that you go over to the wotchboards and ask around. Eyes and brains, dear watson, eyes and brains.
The Winds of Battle lift me,
On Wings of Blood I soar,
My goal to win the day,
My hope to win the war...

For I am made a Weapon,
and I shall die alone,
love for me is illusion,
my heart is frozen stone

The bonds I make are fleeting,
though ones I break are few,
my soul and body buckle
as old wounds open new

My destiny lies shattered,
the ones I'd save lie dead
and all the hatred, all the blame
rests firmly on my head

I cannot change what I have done,
yet I cannot atone
I am now as I was then,
the One Hero Alone

It never does get easy,
the carnage and the shame,
so heed my words, and watch yourself,
lest you end up the same
