Who do YOU want us to interview?

Postby The Layfield on Tue Jan 31, 2006 11:55 am

The title says it all, my friends. Who would you like to hear interviewed on KeenCast? We can't make any guarantees of course, but if people want to hear from someone, I promise I will try to get ahold of them.

(Keep in mind that we can interview people who are not part of Keenspot as well.)

You should consider interviewing Flash animators, since the two online media of flash animation and webcomics are so intertwined and have many crossovers. A Bunch of Flash animators that I'd like to hear interviews from would be ones like James Farr, John and Richie Zirbes, Adam Phillips, Joseph Blanchette, or Bryan Waterman.

As to artists within Keenspot, well you may have heard of Pascalle. Then of course there's David Willis and Maritza Campos.

I think I remember Mr Cros expressing some interest to be on the show at some point back when we first thought up this idea. A show of three Chrises... deja vu

of course it is.. His comic is hilarious! or at least.. it is for small minded me.. ^_^;;
<insert another suggestion>
I'm not too sure how open she'd be to this [ awesome chik who's very busy ], but Emily Gillis of Jikoshia has an awesome comic and she's a really really awesome person whom I think ya'all'd have fun ripping to shreds on the air  but in a good and humorous way that I think she'd enjoy as well.
PS : it's after school. Yes. I like the word 'awesome'.

That WOULD be a tall order to fill. But I'd be lying if I said I didnt want to try and get him on...

Stredwolf... Yes indeed. Comic Gen will not be over looked. I also intend on having a few creators who arent that well known on.

just out of curiosity, will there be a list of people who have agreed to be interviewed for the next episode up whenever it's determined? or will we simply have to sit here and twiddle our thumbs and guess until it finally comes out?

So, anyone regardless of whether they're on Keenspot or not?

In that case, I suggest:

Dan Schive
Josh Phillips
Martiza Campos
David Willis
Rich Burlew
Adrian Ramos
and "Sincerely"

Will the podcasts be archived, or should I try and find a way to save my favourites?

I'm gonna try and make it a habit of mentioning who the next gues will be in the podcast before. HOPEFULLY!

The next show will be Mr. Shive.

Thenodrin: They will be archived, but my suggestion to you would be to download a podcatching program (i like itunes, myself) and subscribe to the show. That way you can keep them all at your fingertips and it will update with the new episode when it comes out!

In that case, would you be willing to accept questions from the audience? You could announce the guest here, then have people list questions for you to ask when you actually record the interview.

Thats the idea, but we gotta get to the point where we know exactly who is gonna be on when. We've already recorded this weeks show, but I'm getting alot more people confirmed for certain days. At that point we can plan a bit more. 8)

How about a mystery guest! Do a KeenCAST, talk about whatever, but do not mention the name of the guest or his/her comic, and let the listeners guess! =D

David Willis and Steve Troop might be a blast to hear on a KeenCast.

Use these guys

I think you need to have Joe England of Zebra Girl because he is my favorite artist (and he needs more exposure). You should have Jennie Breeding of the Devil's Panties because she has a great comic and Pete Abrams of Sluggy Freelance because he is such a big influence on a lot of webcomic artists. Pete would generate a lot of intrest in keencast. 8)
