She must've been talking 'bout the guy she always tackles. That should narrow things out!

Ooooo....for some reason, that pic looks just so right. I can't put my finger on it.

Gneechy! Could we have Drezz giving Mikey advice? No? How about Mikey and Wally snuggle? Er, nevermind.

It sounds like the premise for a sitcom...

He's a laid-back bartender ... HE'S a high-strung perfectionist. Can two gay 'roos share a snuggle without driving each other CRAZY? Catch the wacky hijinks, on "Roo Too!" This fall, on NBC!

LOL! Dharma and Greg have nothing on this one.

Hmmmm, I kinda like Prof. Kingston. Poetic, muscular anti-jock...it's a pity we don't get to see much of him.

Hey, Dover! Listen to my poetry!

All 20 seconds of it. Here's the footage screened on May 21, 2003..

EP 100: "G'day, I'm gay"

[Fade in on apartment]
Mikey: (takes bite of apple at desk, reads through study notes)
Wally: (enters apartment, closes door) Honey, I'm home-o!
[applause, laugh track]
Mikey: Don't call me honey. How was work down at the bar?
Wally: Well, two gay guys down there got into this huge argument..
Mikey: Oh dear. What happened?
<strike>Wally: Eh, it worked out okay. They went outside to exchange blows.</strike>
Wally: It worked out fine, they decided to kiss and make up! With real make up!
[laughter]
Mikey: Listen, can you help me with my studying here? I-

Very cool, Mr. Gneech!

This highlights an interesting point. Lisa's revelation about Mike being gay is kind of at a par with Louis Lane realising that Clarke Kent is Superman.

Not that I mean Mike is superman... Oh, never mind :)

I can't see Mike & Wally getting on. If they did, it would make for very interesting problems with neatness I imagine :)

Oh, and no Jack rabbit Mike's annoying enough *ducks*

I guess it'd be pointless to ask who the "straight man" is in this little sitcom. :)

N/K: Eeeeksssss, maybe this wasn't such a good idea. Ech.

Mmmm, I think I like the Mikey/Brad pairup better. Wally hasn't exaclty gotten much spotlight, so it's tough working with him. Maybe we could drag Drezzer in as well, and the old wolf could convince Mikey to ditch his pants.
Mmmmmm....

(looks around warily)

At the risk of being burned alive for mentioning it (AND exposing my age), I would like to call forth a '70s sitcom: Three's Company.

Granted, the male lead (John Ritter as Jack) wasn't gay, but they found lots of amusing ways to play on the mild homophobic reactions of the landlord. I remember growing up watching this.

Somehow, it isn't something I can see being turned around; one gay girl and two strait men. Isn't it funny how somethings only seem to fit one way?

Has anyone else given thought to how "furry" fiction of all sorts first started going mainstream? I think that Warner Bros. and Disney carry much of this responsbility. After all, what nationality are animals? You can "cast" them in any role, and never be worried about them protesting what light you show them in.

Talking animals... Yup, I look at those two groups for being a major influence on "furry" going mainstream.
The felines are coming...

Eee! Waggy tails!

Come now. Prof Kurt has kept Biff's secret for years, he has even less incentive to spill anything about Mikey

Heh, don't get me started on all the Benefits of Using Animals as Characters, Vicky. Ethnicity skirting is only the beginning....

Thankee much, Gneech! I'll work that into this week's updates...

(blinks innocently)

What...? I read the bit you put up about how animal faces/bodies could be so much more expressive... fur, mobile ears... taaaaaaaails! (grins naughtily) It was very interesting to me, why you chose to use "furries" for your strip.

-cough- -cough-

I want to hear more of n/k's fanfic!

Maybe I'll just write some more myself.

Wally: It's getting late. Come to bed...
Mike: Not yet. Still doing the bills.
Wally: Oh, you're no fun at all!
Mike: I am fun when I have finished doing what I have to do.
Wally: Bah. (exits)
(Mike continues working until the unmistakable sound of a spray-whip canister being used is heard, just as Mikey finishes the last papers and begins putting them away.)
Mike(standing up): I do hope you used the "light" whip.
Wally: You are imPOS--
(Mikey poings into the kitchen)

Oh, I can turn that bit into something so much more funnier. You missed something so, so obvious... no offense, but I'm a fixer!

(Wally goes into the bedroom.)

Mike: Okay, he's gone. Bill, Bill, you can come back out now.

(End scene.)

And since I have no real ending for this, I just take a small bow. *bows* :D

Actually, I know that wouldn't work so well. It was just such an obvious play on words that I couldn't resist. But Mikey would never cheat on whoever becomes his life partner ^_^

That's almost as awful as the pun that sprung to my mind after the third of those strips Vince posted today.
