Amen, brother.
Tho her head looks a tad like walkys. Ah well, i know how hard it's to draw sal in formal dress, i've tried with no or little success. She's not that type of a girl.

Well, my first words were 'Whoa. Would you care to dance?' when I saw that picture.

And then I decided to corrupt everyone's mind by unleashing the fatal image of Walky strutting about in high heels to help his sis learn to walk in them. And letting Squad 128 see both odd sights at once.

I still can't imagine Joyce's response to that. At least he wasn't the one wearing the dress.

I tried to make him a bit less feminine.

Ah, that explains it. Maritza, who seems to be swapping "how to be evil to my readers" ideas with Willis and Phillips...

Picky, picky.

Actually, I didn't think about it. And I'm feeling too lazy right now to go back and edit it again.

Ach. Did you see her comment, or rather lack of one, in the "Question for Maritza (and Pete)" thread? Now THAT'S true evil.

Well, his buttocks seem a bit too prominent, and he's obviously using padding. Plus his hair's a bit longer than that... not bad, but to make it really Walky, you need to lengthen the hair a bit to the style he wears, and also maybe adjust his figure a tad.

The second picture you put up works pretty well, but he does need something to suggest an Adam's apple, and maybe work with the shape of his shoulders a bit.

True. But I'm no great artist, like DW here. I can just work with what others supply. And I have very limited editing tools here at work.

If you want to mess with it, I wouldn't care. Though that might be too much for some boardies. We don't wanna blind anyone. ;)

Yeah. This was uncomfortable to draw. And took several efforts. Sal is definitely not a formal-wear sorta gal. Tomboy to the extreme. I couldn't even draw her looking very comfortably.

Ah well. Some things just weren't meant to be, Animal.

Besides, with her hair back it's hard to make her look Not Like Walky. Ew.

She still looks bloody marvellous, DW. And I have to say, some tomboys I knew as younger girls cleaned up very, very well in their high school prom dresses. RrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrOooooowrrrllll.

David, that pic (and how Sal looks) is absolutely stunning. And there is no way in HELL she looks like Walky. Maybe french braids instead of a regular braid would help with the hair. She'll get used to how she looks and be her old confident self *real* quickly.

As for tomboys cleaning up really well-- some of you from the Avalon forum know that my niece got married last month. What I didn't tell you is she's a dyed-in-the-wool cowboy. Not a cowgirl, you'll get belted if you call her that. Drives an old Chevy pickup, never even seen her without a cowboy hat and jeans. My dad asked where her bandages were when she got married. That kinda kid.

She was poured into a long white strapless chiffon dress with her hair in a french twist, with makeup and high heels. Every time I looked at her I didn't even recognize her. Even now, I look at the photos, and am shocked. She wasn't confident with how she looked either, but she got used to it after a while.

I have fewer editing tools than you, though I'm looking for some that support layers.

And I've already corrupted minds and burnt eyes with my stories. Why not through pictures, outside of me not having a lick of talent? ;)

There ya go, Maritza. Now it looks like she's okay wearing the dress. I think my problem is that I'm not a female. Great sketch.

Maritza will heretofore draw all the art of my females when they're in formalwear.

She will do this for free.
