Hi Quinch!
By "appropriate subject lines", I just mean that if anybody wants to plug their gallery, for example, "Vist my gallery" would be a good subject line... and that's because this forum, at least for now, isn't going to be split up into different categories like the Elfwood discussion boards. Elfwood had separate discussion boards for the site, plugging, making art, etc...
Genn's right, that would be nice (hi genn!), but it's too early for that... let's see if the one board works out.
Besides, having something like a separate board for plugging actually lessens the chance that anybody will actually see it. I don't see a problem with a board that looks like this:
(topics)
- new Elfwood feature
- visit Icefrost's gallery
- problems with acrylic paint
As long as the subject lines are relatively clear, everybody's happy! And unlike the old Elfwood discussion boards, you don't have to click separately to see every single post in any given thread.
I don't mean to imply, however, that people are gonna get whacked for bad subject lines.
And "most" Elfwood topics... that's right, deconstructive ones should be discouraged. Posts like "Elfwood and all its members suck" will probably be deleted; death threats and other troll-like behavior most certainly will. Naughty munchkins may even have their IP addresses banned for a while.
