Moment of Silence

The noble Order of the Knights of Jubal traces its origins back to the Year Two Thousand A.D., when a group of distinguished persons of good and true character, founded the order to promote chivalry and honour. The order takes its name from our leader, Alexander Jubal McRae, who on two (so far) occasions has been seriously injured, in one case fatally, defending an innocent woman from attackers.

As I am sure you have all heard by now, Dale Earnhardt died in a wreck at Daytona. I wish to take this time for a moment of silence in his honor.
(Stays silent. Everyone notices that he is wearing a black armband with a #3 adorned on it, as well as his trademark red armor)
------------------

I must say thank you to you guys. I am not a passionate NASCAR fan and rarely watch a race, but I do know who is who. However, Dale Earnhardt was my father's favorite and because of that, I thank you. Also, starting later tonight, the number 3 will be on my site for a while, no link or anything just a small tribute.
It's also interesting to have this on the EI board since Earnhardt died helping not only his own son, but helping Michael Waltrip win his first career victory, (at Daytona no less). So, in the circle of NASCAR, he died a Knights death, a Dark Knight perhaps, but a Knight nonetheless.
Take care and Peace.
Jamie

------------------

I know all about the Intimidator. I've watched Stock car racing for a while and even though I thought that he was very sneaky in the way he made some of his wins, it still wounds me to hear about his death. He will be sorely missed. There will never be another like him.
(He bows on one knee to the east towards the rising sun that now has the number 3 emblazoned on it's surface in rememberance of him.)
