Stop the presses

A mean guy and a nice guy. Standing together. One is pink, one is blue. Such is Pentasmal, and such is life.

Just busting your chops, Aaron. I hope you know, after the many times I've told you, that I think Pentasmal is generally hilarious, except for the occasional odd one that isn't. Like that one about my dad.
Back to the topic, have you ever considered printing a collection of them, in comic book form, one Pentasmal per page?
And where is the comic that got published in the Asbury Park Press? I want to see how unfunny it was.
------------------

You should definitely try to get your stuff in the papers, start small like with the New York Times and then work your way up to the National Inquirer and then maybe even the asbury park press, though lets not get ahead of ourselves now. Really though, you should submit your comics to the press and see what happens; the comics really lack blue and red guys and dry humor, i mean, i see all of that Medievil times comic that sucks and i just dont even bother to read it cus it is like a novel. 3 Palettes of insane humor? I think you could land yourself in a gold mine, or at least a spot in the funnies section-Note for discussion, "the funnies" or "the comics"?

Think about it.

Getting comics into the newspaper is really more of a daunting task that it would seem, and the payoff is relatively little. I actually did submit one of my old pre-pentasmal comics to the Whatever section of the Asbury Park Press, though. They printed it, no one laughed at it because it was dreadfully unfunny, and I decided it wasn't worth the trouble to submit anymore. And that's the end of that story.
And, hey Boxjam, just what do you mean by this?

You saying something about the usual quality of my comics? :P
------------------

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I actually wrote out a War and Peace sized response back on the 24th, but it all got erased and it's taken me this long to even look at this thread again, due to a) fury and b) time constraints. Mostly fury.
Anyway, the general gist of it was: I have thought about a book collection, however it doesn't really seem like a very feasible possibility. I can't resize most of my strips to the necessary dimensions for printing, I lack any funds to produce a book, and I lack the fanbase to make it a profitible venture.
I do, however, appreciate your interest in one.
------------------

I can fix all this. I shall link to you from my journal site, then I'll change the dimensions of published comic books to better fit your panel arrangement, and I'll win the lottery so I can buy 10,000 Pentasmal books from the first press and put you on the NYT list.
Oh, wait, what's on TV tonight?
