I love how he destroys any sense of clever foreshadowing by pointing it out in his blog post. *sigh* Come now, Mookie. Let your readers figure it out.

For quite a while Everist, and we get Mookie's supporters attacking us for hurting the Mook's feelings now and then.

And yay! Everybody's dead. Milov is dead, and Jayden is dead, Feenix is dead, Dominic is dead, Luna is dead, everybodies dead and it is glorious! We need only kill Nimmel and then we can rest easy knowing this crappy attempt at fleecing the flock is done with! Except we know that won't happen. Nothing bad ever sticks in this comic and it will go until Mookie get's a stroke and dies. No Daige, I am not suggesting that Mookie should get a stroke and die. I'm only saying it will last until he is no more.

The death of a major good character would be nice, but we know it won't happen because Mr Death Metal is obsessed with the Silver Age of comics. I admit, I rather like the simple innocence of that time too, but I also know that story telling conventions keep moving forward, or at least cycle since the old fairy tales would have savaged these characters.

I don't believe it, but I hope it's true. None of these characters are really essential and the comic has spent too much time on them over the years, in my estimation. Unlike the rest of you, I don't want to see Dominic die. These characters though. Yeah, I'd like to see a little pruning done if it means we don't have to waste so much time on them anymore. Then again, in the Deeganverse, being dead might mean we see even MORE of them. I won't believe they're dead until Mookie shows them in heaven... and then I'll be expecting a heaven arc with Klo Tark as their guide.

I like to imagine he's dead inside and Nimmel is the body. That all the trashing and hell he's supposedly gone through has rendered him all but an automoton. That everything he's doing is just going through the motions and all.

I feel like I would have been fine with this comic if Mookie hadn't blown his load in the news feed. Someone should script an Addon like the one I downloaded for Youtube that changes all comments to 'herp' and 'derp'.

It's pretty close to what he writes in any case.
