There were explosions in Twilight? I thought this was a vampire story and thus would be all dark and broody and ... well ... explosionless :)

One would think that. But no. Even the lady I'm currently dating confirm that it was prettty much crap.

Now let's learn how to properly pronounce this: "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn."

Yeah my daughter gave me a 10 minute summary of the first four books that made it pretty clear that they are Crap - note the capital C :)

And then the next day I saw a comment on Facebook to the effect that the books are much better than the movies. So now I'm even less likely to watch them ;)

My early access hasn't started yet, but Van's has so he's helped me pick out a server and reserved the name I want for my character for me. We need a total of at least 4 people to start the guild and as far as I know we've only got two confirmed so far; Van and myself.

Anyway, the server we've picked is a west coast RP-PvE server called Bregren Colony, so you can go ahead and make your characters there if you want to join. When I'm able to create my character she will be a True Sith Sith Warrior named Elish.

Unfortunately, I'm getting this for Christmas and will be playing with friends on the server they choose when they get it at release. I'd love to, but it's unlikely.

Here are stats for a player race I created, compatible with 3.5 D&D. Please steal.

SPOILERS:Tasty People
+2 Charisma: Tasty People have strong natural pheromones.
-2 Wisdom: Tasty People have a racial predisposition for making bad decisions.
When faced with an encounter involving a predatory creature, a Tasty Person must make a Charisma Check. If the DC (15) is met, the creature will attack the Tasty Person to the exclusion of other targets who are not also Tasty People who have met this DC. The DC should be modified for monsters with a strong sense of smell, I leave this to your discretion as a DM. The monster is not forced to attack the Tasty Person if doing so would cause it to take an attack of opportunity.
A Tasty Person's starting class should be treated as his favored class.

Tasty People speak Common.

I created a Sith Inquisitor on that server, so I'll join whenever.

I don't think we'll have to worry about guild drama too much with Goblins fans; we're all pretty much completely awesome.

Obviously you were never in the WoW guild. I've been in much worse guilds, but there will still be drama.

Actually, I was in the WoW guild for a few months...but I must have quit WoW before any drama started. While I was there, everyone was great. On the other hand, this might mean that I was the calming effect...like Patrick Swayze in Roadhouse, but with 3% fewer throat-rippings.

Mmmmmm... throat-rippins. Yummy on toast with a pint of Guinness to wash it down.

I'm going to try to get the guild started this evening. I'm still short one player, but I really want to at least get it started. If you want to join the guild and you can make a character please do so and send a message to Elish in the game (I'm probably going to be playing most of the day so I won't get any messages here). I realize it's still the early access period and not everyone pre-ordered, so if I can't get a fourth Goblins fan by this evening I'm going to try to talk some random person into helping us out so the guild will at least be ready to join when you can start playing.

(If you try to send Elish a tell and she's not online, I'm probably playing an alt for a bit so send a mail and I'll respond when I switch back.)

Quick question from your friend over the pond, just bought SW:OR and was wandering, is this again an american european split in servers? I have friends who have it over here but it would be fun to play with you guys.

Update: anybody who feels the need can join me on Infinite Empire, Imperial side in <Force Club>, but you can't talk about it. Look me up as owa'wyzgai or jimmytwoshots or mc'forceguy.

I just realized the reply I wrote to this never got posted for some reason. The answer is yes; yes you can make a character on the American servers.
