I guess, but it still kind of bothers me. It means that they either
A) didn't read through the thread entirely, so didn't see what people were doing (And as I have previously established, people who don't read are scum who will be eaten by owls), or
2) did see what everyone was doing and didn't think that what nearly every person before them had done was worth their effort (You know, the whole five seconds of effort to copy/paste the list).

I realize that it's what the irrational, spiteful, mean part of me thinks. But it does bother me.

Not necessarily, since some of us (e.g. me who started the list) usually find the time to create an updated and verified list, including forgotten names (and without double signups )

Well, to be honest, I tend to disregard the signups posts in their entirety as they are not game relevant nor GM posts. I will see who makes it or not when they are announced, 'till then best of luck to all who signup, but i won't go and read every last of them.

And I very much dislike spamming (Meant in the endlessly reposted way) the same list every damn post when I assume the GM gonna ignore it and make his own anyway (If only to make sure.). It's good enough if it's updated once or so a page, no needs to post it everytime, imo.

No offense meant, just stating my reasons.

Not necessarily, since some of us (e.g. me who started the list) usually find the time to create an updated and verified list, including forgotten names (and without double signups )

But he can't know, without a doubt, that you didn't mess something up. Now, it's certainly a good idea to keep track of the number of players in a first-come game, but I don't see much point for random drawing.

I also saw the list, but a few people ahead of me had posted without it, and I didnt want to risk someone not making it on a list by me copying it incomplete. Also the last game I tried to get into, Destiny of the Stonetear Clan, ECR said he'd go trough every post himself anyway, so it wasnt out of lazyness I skipped.
Anyhow good luck to all Looks like a fun game, hope the dies are friendly to me.

For the draw, I will have to make my own list, but maybe I'll also use your list to check if I missed someone.

So in the end, it doesn't hurt to have an extra list, but that doesn't mean I won't have to make my list too.
