*poke* That, and you have to get on WoW. Dresses is getting kinda lonely over there. *wink*

Haha...not gonna happen, sadly. I gave my soul to the WoW monster a long time ago and was fortunate enough to free it. I don't make enough to pay for it anyway. I WILL be playing Guild Wars 2 when that comes out, however :D

Feels like I worked forever on that update :(
I had some pretty busy weeks (filling out forms from hell, still not got my grades, trying to find a job and preparations for easter-family-reunion etc.)
The picture was giving me some troubles, too, there were so many drawing mistakes I had to correct it took me a while to get it done properly.

I DO believe that's Slings in the background on the rooftop! Yay!

Heh...I can't believe the old man came back. Geez, JO, I haven't talked to you since the old Sorcery Quest days.

WOW! Great story.
Liked the first one very much, enjoying this one too.

Minor comments (I actually don't care if they ever get observed, but maybe someone else does):

page_8: 4th panel: "some useful spell scolls" (did you mean scrolls?)

Thank You for sharing!

This is a fun story. :)

For people wanting to play a "monsters as PCs and adventurers as monsters" campaign, aside from Goblins' more traditional approach (wander the world a bit and do crawls to get levels), the "village defense" model of this comic is a great idea. Anti-raid defense in WoW was always fun.

-2 Wisdom: Tasty People have a racial predisposition for making bad decisions.
When faced with an encounter involving a predatory creature, a Tasty Person must make a Charisma Check. If the DC (15) is met, the creature will attack the Tasty Person to the exclusion of other targets who are not also Tasty People who have met this DC. The DC should be modified for monsters with a strong sense of smell, I leave this to your discretion as a DM. The monster is not forced to attack the Tasty Person if doing so would cause it to take an attack of opportunity.
A Tasty Person's starting class should be treated as his favored class.

@ Knucklekraken: Don't worry, the drums are not in the line of fire, your collection of spears on the other hand...

@ SnaxonFrogs: Well that one human-torch running around IS causing this whole 'warcamp burning down'-problem.

@ mnemeth: Flameable, inflameable doesn't matter, Flames can burn anything.

@ RocketScientist: Well, job search isn't going too well. Already messed up two job interviews so far :(. Of course I've got more than one iron in the forge, but it's frustrating nevertheless.

Control Weather - spell level 7 -> minimum caster level 13 -> casters below level 13 need a caster level check with DC14 and If that fails a DC 5 Wisdom check to avoid a mishap...

I doubt Tries too hard (at least I think that's him) has a high enough caster level...

I'm handling it like this:

To cast a spell from a scroll there are two requirements needed:

1. Being able to read the text and speak it aloud
2. Having at least some magical power to unlash the sealed in spell.

The spell's power itself comes from the person who originally wrote the scroll.

Since we are talking about members of the Scroll Readers Clan, (and specially those members, who were qualified for the warcamp) both requirements are met.

About control... well ...
