Wow, I'm seeing a whole lot of good slays here. Espeically insectintersect's one. Here's my latest contribution:

Another one based on yesterday's strip: what if Luna "forgot" to close the door?

Awesome! Although if the change in expression in the bottom row were a bit more gradual it could work better.

Yes, I know. Finding nuanced expression in the strip is not an easy task.

I'm not intending to show up GKLee. I'm just riffing off of the material he (she?) has already provided.

As such, more subtle expressions, AND COLOR! YAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!! *crazy kermit flailing*

The background color makes that comic greater than the original. ... nice touch with the pink fingers.

Damn it! I wanted to be the one to break the one-hundredth page of this thread!

There was only so much time I could put into it though. For a joke that would be relevant for a few days, 95% is close enough.

I'm a he, for future reference. By the way, good job on the coloring. I always have problems with coloring these strips. What program did you use for it?

Photoshop Elements 7. I take the original image, leave that alone and put a new layer on top. I set the layer's type to Multiply, and that lets me color within the lines, without coloring OVER the lines (the darker the color, the more it shows through)

Just tried it. it works great! Would you believe that I tried using color range select before? Neat how simple some solutions can be.

Anyways, here's another one I did the other day, but forgot to upload. Apparently, the test results were more than just impossible:

I'm sorry, GKLee, but you've planted the seed (though I gave a hearty HAH! at that)...and I have to let the flower flourish.

Found this font on SA's DD thread. Was made by madadric.

I am going to start mentally replacing DD characters with Homestuck characters, I think.
It makes it all more bearable.

I just can't help but noice how that last word bubble looks like a tentacle monster. So maybe the "Beast" will be the answer to their problems?

What's this thread doing so far back?

*pulls it out of its shallow grave*

Doesn't really count as thread necromancy, right? I mean, it was only on page 2..
The few coherent thoughts in my mind tend to get lost in translation.

Well actually I came up with an earlier variant, but I'm not sure if it counts as "thinking of it first."
Reposting because I'm too lazy to go look back through this thread to find the link...

No, that would be the guys who programmed this thing.

I dunno. The rest of it sucked balls (and not in the good way, so don't bother twisting those words Webkilla), but Panel 8 got a genuine laugh out of me, if only because it fits Szark.

Yeah, it would have been better just having swapped out panel 8.

At first I figured maybe there was a joke I was out of the loop on. Yeah, panel 8 would be pretty good standalone.. the rest kinda reminds me of grade school madlibs.
