Oh right, i thought it was that Blu-Ray encryption code that was supposed to be "pirate proof" but was cracked on the day Blu-Ray was launched.
I remember a YTMND that had a picture of the code and a voice reading it out, but were it said 66 the voice said "sixty-six" and not "six six", and some pretentious arse complained about it. Which is why i remember it at all.

Like many, I was too lazy to pay attention to the hex (decoding it) and only noticed the blue strokes through it forming the "face". Kinda like seeing the overall face as Neo faces the Machine collective instead of the individual machines forming it near the end of Matrix Revolutions (assuming I'm remembering that correctly, I should watch them again).

The face just made me want to decode it even more 
I work with hex editors a lot, so it wasn't hard to see it were mostly values in the range of 60h-80h... which are the ascii text characters. And neatly separated by 20h bytes, which I knew were spaces.
