I feel kind of sorry for Mir and Ari... clairvoyance would simplify so many things... but completely screw me over, so to hell with it.

Also, I don't think I've ever used the word "recently" to mean "within the past eighteen hours." Rebecca is probably assuming incorrectly her assumptions were correct when she made them. And I can't help but notice "a few years ago, here and there" kind of implies a steady phase in the past, which Sherry would probably know about, which kind of puts a different spin on the "speaking in tongues" bit... and Chuck, too, because of the list, but there's no real consequence in that right now.

Also, past performance suggests Rebecca will tell Walter in a way that hints they've been sleeping together.

Also, I'm mildly disappointed this arc wasn't called "strange fascination fascinating me."

I think it's safe to say both; the trouble is figuring out what kind of fascination and to what degree.

The irony in this story is, if Miriam hadn't been trying so hard to police Rebecca's behavior, she probably wouldn't be thinking about it so much right now...
