wow... that was the worst thing I've ever read in my life.
Dude, it doesn't surprise me that El Santo totally missed the point. Have you ever read his review on the dojo?

El Santo is just not a good reviewer. His hero is the infamous John Solomon (don't feel bad if you've never heard of him... He's a hero only to internet trolls and until he wasted his time talking trash about my Godmode run I'd never heard of him either) and while John Solomon was pretty good at the hateful reviewer schtick (translation he could make you laugh while talking utter shit about you), El Santo is like a dollar store imitation. He has a problem I find in most of these guys who like to talk shit to amuse while quasi-reviewing whatever it is they're reviewing- Not enough review to be helpful, not enough humor to be amusing.
Sadly, this does very little good for anyone. If you're not being funny then at least be informative. He spent a great deal of time comparing Locus to other things without actually TALKING about the comic. And when he did talk about the comic, surprise surprise... He got hung up on the boobs. Funny thing is he did the same thing in my comic. Dude... I'll admit that I love me some titties. Their presence doesn't "cheapen" a story though. For fucks sake, that's such a repressed attitude to have. And again, not a good quality for a reviewer to have.
Which brings me to my last point. A webcomic reviewer... I swear to you that I have never once sought out webcomic reviews before reading a webcomic. The whole point of reading reviews is to save money and time. I'll read a ton of game reviews before taking the plunge. 60 bucks is a lot to lose. By contrast a movie ticket costs far less so I'll rarely read a movie review (and yes.. I get burned a lot more at the movies then at the gamestore, but that's because the risk is greater so I approach games far more carefully). Now a webcomic costs NOTHING. I mean most of them. And while it could be argued that a review can still save you time, I'd say that the time wasted reading the review could be spent forming your own opinion based on time spent with the actual product.
That's right, I READ webcomics to see if I like them. Not reviews.
I'm just sorry your email found that loser. Locus is a quality comic, with great art, an interesting story and cast. El Santo is not only trying to fill a pointless role, he's failing at filling that role.
