EGS NP

Postby Pascal Curious on Mon Sep 01, 2008 11:48 pm

For a second I thought he just made one because it said Sept. 2
It seemed kinda weird, he made a comic for the main story line yesterday and is going to tomorrow and if there was any changes in his schedule he'd make a filler.
I checked it anyway and it was an old one.
It has been an entire year since Dan has made an NP comic.

Two. Two years. That was 2006.

Yeah, I miss them.
Plus I still think that the story ended somewhat abrupt.

I enjoyed the Newspaper stuff myself. I wonder if Dan's feelings of being constricted by the landscape format extended into the four-panel format. Dan?

More stuff similar to... Goonmanji I believe it was called would be awesome. Or the Black & White like arc. Those were brilliant.

I like having an actual update schedule, rather than the sporadic one we had most of the time he was working on NP.

Exactly! Mon / Wed story, Fri NP! Perfectly fine update schedule, don't you think? =)

The story goes agonizingly slow enough as it is without getting rid of the weekly updates.

And it would be a thousand (or three) times worse for any "story" that was in NP. It would pretty much seem to stand still.

I like having regular updates, too. OTOH, with school and the probable return of DES Comics, three per week may be a thing of the past.

If so, I'd rather see NP than filler. But that's just me, and in the end it's up to Dan, of course.

IF (and it's a big if) EGS:NP returns, it will be sometime after the current arc. So many mechanics and rules for the EGS universe are being dealt with that several short story possibilities will be available to me that just aren't yet.
