Jun-20 Goth Chick?

If parody has a name, it must be... Zortic! ('cause, let's face it, what's Mel Brooks done lately?)

So instead of not casting a reflection, his voice wouldn't echo?

Whenever he went to the blood bank, he'd just have it put on his bill?

Anything thrown at him would just slide like water off his back?

I wonder why Zoie is asking for proof of Zortic's Soul. He always striked me as a Rock fan.

But right now, he suffers a bad case of the Blues.

And once again, Zoe sticks her neck out for her boyfriend.

With the sun rising in the background, Zorcula may soon be feeling a little "burned out."

That's all that Zortic needed: A little empowerment.

I doubt that Zortic would have rejected Zoie's offer before turning into a denizen of the underworld.

Anyway: Here comes the sun dudududu

I thought that only women faked "some things" in a relation.

And what was up with Zortic's hair? All this time I've thought he was wearing some kind of helmet... Was it combed and dyed? How? Why? I'm a Lost Boy in this... :-?

Too bad, now that Zoie had her hopes to live with Zortic in the Strawberry Fields, Forever... (Sorry Beatles' fan here)

I really want to know the answer to this... Will this be solved in the next strip?

BTW Why does Zoie thinks that Zortic wants to spend eternity with a puppet bear that tells bad jokes? (Waka waka)

Yes, tomorrow's strip should answer all of your questions.

...Well, except the Fozzy issue. We'll have to leave that open to artistic interpretation.

But... but... How do you turn a puppet into a vampire?
Do people throw blood bags instead of tomatoes at him now?
Has he changed his favourite action from tell to count?
And how did Zoie knew about them, as she mentions them in 2nd panel?

Inquiring minds need to know! :-|

All I can say about this strip is: If Zortic could trick Chearl into thinking he was already a vampire, then she was blind as a bat.

I think she should be thankful that Zoie made her [il]bite[/i] the dust, or she would not be able to hold up the shame for biting into Zortic's trick.

I hope that if Zortic asks Zoie "Well, now, What was biting you, anyway?" she won't bite Zortic's head off.

Too bad that now their source of income is gone, the guys will have to bite the bullet and go looking for work again.

Zortic did have a good idea for using that girl's teeth, but still: Ewwwww!

BTW Mark in the third panel Zortic says "conviced". It must be "convinced"

Oh, so bats how it happened. Fangs a lot for the explanation.

Zort may no longer have to worry about being undead, but it looks like he's in the doghouse for a while.

Aug-20 strips shows that Love means never having to say you're Zoie. :smug:

And so, the vamp plotline comes to an end. Or should we say a point(y tooth)?

Women fascinated by vampires? Maybe that's why ruthless lawyers aren't exactly starving for female companionship compared to working stiffs. ;)

Of course, it's a fascination that can come back to *bite* them.

Now that vamps have made an apperance, are werewolves next?

So Mark, when you started drawing this plotline, did you anticipate me & Atristain declaring oh-pun season on it?

I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the next plotline.

EDIT: Too bad we can't add some drums, cymballs and a rickochet to this forum. :D

(Thinking it better, let's not, or all the other readers would add a *groan* :gonk: as a reply...)

Since Wednesday, I've been wondering if Zortic's papa's soaked beard smells like soaked dog.

And I agree with his father. What kind of way is that to address him? He should at least said "Hi dad! Nice of you to drip by!"

Specially after he looks like he crossed the ocean to see his son.

Mark: was it intentional that Zortic's father asked him to go with him to the dark side? (k-sshhh)

I wonder if next plotline will soak... :smug:
