John Death (24th July)

It looks like he's aware they're setting a trap for the Reich. The thing is will it be sprung before he convinces the rest of the people he's with to be careful? Or will they ignore him because they hate him?

Better question: Will JD and his apprentices use this opportunity to rid themselves of the arrogant Reich officers who "need to learn a little respect"? Good opportunity to get rid of a pain in the butt and spring the trap without personal injury.

And as an added perk, the Clan of the Hawk takes the blame. He can claim (with total honesty) that he did all he could but they ignored him.

I don't think Clan Hawk would mind that much about the blame.

I just had a thought -- maybe the spirits protecting the Clan do something to the minds of the aggressors to enhance the differences within the force attacking?

I'm glad you're not giving spoilers. I'm even more glad that our discussion has tempted you to do just that.
