Postby meshuggeneh on Mon Mar 13, 2006 12:32 am

Wow. That must have been hard for Penny to do in heels.... And mini skirt.... Which Aggie can look up (er, down) in the last panel.... Think wholesome thoughts, people.

Heh, it's good to see Penny got out of shock in time to see the debate. Although, you know, the way things have been going for her and Duane, I'm not sure why she's so concerned about keeping things platonic, now. Things have never been beyond platonic, and Duane doesn't really seem like one to push the issue. But, maybe Penny's feeling more guilty about it, now? Hm. I just don't see the need for Penny to clarify 'just friends' in order to support Duane when she's been platonically (sp?) supporting his campaign from the start. Because of the wounding debate? Perhaps.

Heh. "Peasant." Oh, Penny. Smooth, real smooth. Although, if Sara accused Penny of having feelings for Aggie, does Penny really have the grounds to assume Aggie does have feelings for her? I mean, it's groundless, regardless--but Sara was accusing Penny--why doesn't Penny just kiss Aggie? Heh, maybe the shock hasn't really worn off, after all.

Figuring how Penny has commited all her energy into making herself into a human ivory tower and how the two top people she can seek companionship that would go below skin depth are a boy with very low potential as a showpiece and a professional thorn in her side, we are likely to see alot more egg on Penny's face. ^^

I don't think she needs to clarify "just friends" in order to support him.

I just think she needs to clarify "just friends", if only because the assumption is slowly building that they're not that, even if it's not necessarily Duane who's holding that assumption.

I have to say, I'm really psyched to see more Penny and Aggie together in this strip. Nevermind the whole eager suspense thing after Sara dropped that bombshell theory on Penny. Nevermind the hilarity of Penny jumping out of the window. I just really genuinely love it when these two are interacting. Their wonderful complex relationship is just always flawlessly executed.

I'm more amused by "...Possibly," as she's sitting in the grass...

ROFL

Edit: occurred to me as I hit submit...is Aggie's next question going to be "Did you just call me a PEASANT?"

Penny in that position and Aggie looking down on her won't help their image... Let's just hope Sara won't sse them in that situation... :shifty:

Imagine having all the school chanting like this:

'Penny and Aggie, sitted on the window...'

And I never imagined Penny citing Monty Python's phrases... Just add "bloody"...

That was effing great.

As for Penny not thinking that Aggie likes her Sara did tell her Aggie put the note in her locker. So Penny is probably going on that.

It should be funny to see tomorrows strip. Does Aggie leave Penny to her own idiocy or ask her wha the hell is wrong with her?

I can't wait to see.

Sara also said that Penny knew this, and later pretended that it had been a guy. The logic is still flawed.

Of course, since when has logic had anything to do with these two?

True but thats just what Sara thinks... Well the whole thing is just what Sara thinks lol except Aggie did put a note in Penny's locker just not the way Sara thinks.

Penny wasn't looking for a girl in a red shirt but a guy SO perhaps she just believes that Aggie was there (Or too nervous to show up) and she spoke to the wrong person which she did since she didn't speak to Duane.

So Penny probably believes that Aggie like her.

Personally, I see this going in one of two ways, either Penny being completly freaked out and weird about it (Bad) or Penny, thinking about it, and then some wacky situation in which they end up kissing and the roles are reversed, which aggie being suspicious( GOOD). Either way this will be very funny

Maybe I'm making this up, but didn't Aggie already explain to her that that was Duane?

Perhaps Penny realized it was Duane during/after the whole 'because he's black fiasco'--remember how she assesses his qualities and states she'd have gone out with him at least once? The question is: did Sara understand that? Obviously, not.

There's an equal chance Aggie may start calling her "Kitten."
