The Doctor notices that an amber light has just illuminated, indicating that a n00b has just started a thread, not just any thread but an introductary thread. Nifty, he thinks to himself as he starts his trans-dimentional Poke-inator. Steady now, old boy, he muses as he visually targets and fires.

Opera. There's a dropdown that'll change the magnification on a page in case you have eyesight problems (or a smartass writing small things in a sig), anywhere from 20-1000%.

That made it quite legible.

Firefox has a View->Text Size menu, as well as shortcuts ctrl++, ctrl+-, and ctrl+0.

But in the preferences dialog, there is another cool feature: Minimum font size. I've set it at 10, and so all text is somewhat legible from the outset. It means I can't tell small fonts from tiny, but I consider that a small loss. Or even tiny.

It's supposed to be a modification of E. Honda's hundred-hand-slap from Street Fighter 2. I guess I'm enough of a games nerd I never thought people wouldn't immediately get that.

Wow, three pages of poke-age. I dunno if that's good or bad. When I first posted, I received naught but one single poke from Kaura and a welcome message from freeflier (Thank you for that, by the way.). Again, I'm not sure if it's good or bad.

Newbies who make introduction posts get poked once by everyone. Newbies who just sneak in, just get poked once. That's how the Goddess has decreed it, and thus it shall be.

Okay, with have zooming and size-limitation for Firefox and Opera - anyone know of anything similar for Mozilla?

EDIT: Edit -> Preferences -> Appearance -> Fonts -> Find box labelled "Minimum font size". Unfortunately, it only goes down to 9...
