The Egg and the Eye

How old is Educational Egg? Older or younger than Danny Washington? Did they grow up together? I want the whole backstory. I think Educational Egg's removable eye followed Danny around for years before returning to its "body" (the egg), then Educational Egg went over to Danny's house and knocked on the door with his eye and they became best friends instantly when Danny hugged Educational Egg and kissed its eye. Danny's front door was covered in blood, though, after the eye knocked on the door by popping out.
