Guess what, kids! I talked to the Manager of Original Animation at Cartoon Network yesterday, a very nice lady named Amy Handler. I'm working up a submission packet for a pitch to CN using Krazy Larry! What I need from you is your opinions..
I need to submit four or five story ideas, along with character designs, blah blah blah...Which past storylines in the strip are your favorites? Which would you like to see made into cartoons? Which do you think would work BEST on television? Which are the funniest?
I'm very excited about this, the people at CN seem very laid back and receptive to new ideas. Very "artist friendly". I think i have a pretty good chance of at least getting my foot in the door
Here's hoping you like the same ones I do!
Thanks, guys!

Holy crap...
I am a newbie to this part of the board and i never post but this... This is something important...
I mean... Even a one shot cartoon is both a major boost for an artist and a way of making his art famous...
But heck i will miss your cynical jokes...
I hope CN Does not dilute your humor... And also... Don't let those bastards take Larry!
But for favorite storylines...
Inferior Products Beyond Time
Geral Goes NoNuts
Klazy Larry: All Growed Up
[This message has been edited by cheetorix02 (edited 02-16-2002).]

Good luck Paul!!!!!!
Here are my favorites:
easter lobster (both)
world record fever
automaton erotica
I think you should try the longer 'series' rather than a 5 strip ones if they want to animate something. It'll show you can do some longer humor to fill a 1/2 hour. But that's my 2 cents.

Holy smoo.
This is all so nifty that I can hardly think. The only gag that comes to mind for me is the one about the drawing of a lemur.
...But seeing as this is the first time that I've posted on this board, I supose that my opinion don't count.
Boo-hoo. *
(*This emoticon, or "smiley", indicates that the poster is sad.)
------------------

Alot of the storylines that have been posted so far are the slighty out of character ones (aka Unrelated Gag Week... God I love those.)

How ever, for what would work well for television while still remaining funny, I suggest: Everything but Walnuts, Idiot Daves Flabtacular Weight Lose , Luvhandles, Hallucinatory Story, and Gerald Goes NoNuts(Which have all previously been said, but never all at once.)
These all have very self contained story lines, and introduce the characters a little before the action picks up.
Wee, I feel smarter then I really am.

Gotta say - "Key Blindness" has some sweet potential, too (maybe not enough 'Larry', though).
HEY PAUL - what's up with the project??? Any decisions?

WOW!!! krazy larry on tv! I love it! Im kinda worried, you humore is kinda too adult for CN, they might edit the coolest/funniest stuff outta it. Like Cowboy Bebop.
But hey, if anyone deserves this its you my friend!! Though, I think its more of a FOX thing...
1 Preggers
2 Automations Erotica
3JERK TRAINING!!! I know its not really a episod type thingy but its funny as hell!
4 Key BLindness
5 Cross Breeding in the air
6 Puck Amuck, very Looney Tunes with a twist.
