I actually learned about this comic from a friend of mine... who is almost an exact derpcounterfeits of Kestral... right down to the red hair and green eyes. And love of natural selection ~laughs~

My name is Bonnie, everyone calls me Babie, long story...

I'm new to this forum and this comic... relatively...

I got linked to this comic from a girlfriend of mine who swears the main character was me... well at least led a strangely parallel life to mine...

My first exposure to QoW was when my friend linked me to the strip where... whats his name... *brain fart* adam was it?.. broke up with Kestrel over the IMs on the internet? yeah... like 2 days before that my boyfriend broke up with me in a similar fashion. I found it rather interesting, so I went back and read every strip from the first to the most recent... and its sooooooo~ strange how Kestrel really does in some fashion lead a parallel life to mine.

From the best friend who's married to the exboyfriend, to the boyfriend breaking up with me over the internet, down to the 'obsession' asking me for the phone number to my friend so he can hook up with her and not me...

*boggle*

But I just wanted to stop by and say since that day, I've been a dedicated fan to your comic Aerie, your doin an awesome job... keep up the good work.... =)

I've been lurking this forum since the last Cross over with S*P at which point I went back and read every single QoW's comic and I positively loved every single one of them. I especially love showing everyone my chain saw of natural selection

You're a really great Artist Aerie and you've humored my quite a bit lately, I can't wait to see what else you turn out.

I was actually linked to this webcomic from the pvpforums. One day someone's avatar was a read-headed girl reading porn. That's strange, I thought to myself but i'd seen far stranger things on the internet.

Hello all. I am a fan of both queen of wands AND something postive. I swear I check them both 10 times a day. I blame my boy friend for that. Showing me the comic referring to the erotic Band members. I just graduated High school and was in the band, so it kinda of implied me. But Im a baritone baby , and taht sucker aint go up no where. *smiles*

In altermeta.com I am the leader forumer with the most post in the forums and I don't brag about it... Hell I won't even say the number, wich of course would be words typed for nothing.

On a side note that is completely unrelated to the topic at hand... <vent>someone needs to stick a cucumber in the ear of my hosting company. First the disk gets full on the machine my domain is hosted on (um, how do they not notice that???), then it simply acts screwy at random intervals ever since... not responding to http requests, occasionally hanging on pop requests, not connecting to databases... grr. I protest!</vent>

Hello all!

couldn't find a better place for a first post and since a few others did...
I came to Qween of Wands following a chain of comics:

somehow one day I got 8-bit theatre confused with penny arcade (how? I have no idea)

so I searched for and found 8-bit theatre (thinking I was looking for penny arcade), got hooked read all of the archives and a few weeks ago, its author Brian was out of town and links to a few other comics were posted by a friend of his. Among those was Something Positive I read the S*P archives and that lead me to Queen of Wands. I must say I'm rather impressed with Queen of Wands and that the recent story line (about the daughter) has really started me thinking...........................if only I could draw better.....

another newbie.. I'll be posting on here, men in hats and dd mostly. Gotta say i love QoW and SP, been reading them both for about.. i dunno 6 months.

Anyway, just wanted to give a thumbs up to the creator. I sit in my cubible all day and stare at the march 31rst comic , a little more relieved that at least i am not the only one for whom V.T.O. (voluntary time off) has become both a bane and blessing. ^^

I'm another newbie as well. I'd like to tell you how I started reading Queen of Wands but I can't really remember how. I do remember reading the archives in about 2 days and I finished earlier today, or last night if you want to be technical, and I already want a shirt and one of those sketches off Ebay. I'm not quite sure if it shows I have good taste or that I need a life. Who knows?

Halloo! Yes, another newb...I'm a camper on the Wapsi forums though. QoW got its deliciously mischevious hooks into me after the "READ." banner got spotted. It led me to S*P, which I also read on a 'justgotintotheofficenotreadytoworkwhichcomicsareupyet?" basis. Yep. It's pretty much exactly like that...that's what a four frap-per-morning habit will do to ya.

And semirandom...that March 31 comic is on my wall in my office...I nearly strangled myself with my headphones once, when a firetruck scared the living daylights out of me. Never said I was smooth! :wink:

I havn't strangled myself, but I have cleared my desk a couple of time when i got up and started walking away, only to realize that I'm still connected. Quick-release my a**.

Hi everyone. Name's MoneyG, and I'm new to this forum, but I've read through all of the QoW archive and have been a reader for a long time. I just had to join the forum cuz that comic today was just too much for me. I mean really, I didn't I could handle that. Aiere, love your work.
