I'm a big HUM fan and I needed an MS Messenger nickname, but I didn't want an obvious HUM reference. "Afternoon with the Axolotls" is one of my favorite songs be them, an Axolotl is a salamander, Ambystoma is the salamander genus.

Plus I thought that having a nick related to salamanders on a forum dedicated to a comic strip about a witch is kind of funny.

Orthanc is Saruman's tower in The Lord of The Rings. One of the translations is "cunning mind" which is why I use it. Been using it for too many years to change.
Much as I'd like to since everyone know's it since the movies. That's right, I was orthanc when it was underground

Well with my name....Jennifer is my actual name and whenever I help out at the dance studio and what not the little girls refer to me as Miss Jennifer, and the people I work with call me that sometimes too. But the reason for the _ in the user name is because my main nick name is also Nifer so a lot of people call me that...so I just wanted to have it all together.
I don't have a signature, so sad, so sad, just drown me in Choo Choo Bear now.

Made it up. Doesn't mean anything. Been using it for nearly 10 years in various incarnations (gaming offline, gaming online, forums, etc etc etc ad nauseum).

Oh, and in case you're wondering, the "j" is silent. Correct pronunciation would be RAY-klin. At least that's how I pronounce it. Or something like that.

Next!

I've just always thought the word moocow was fun to say. I've also found that 'IAreMoocow' is usually never taken on even the most popular sites, so I can be lazy and not have to remember more than one login.

It has nothing to do with the fact that I spent 7 accursed years in Oklahoma. Nope, not at all. Never. Shush you!

Starman comes from the DC comic of that name and is due to my having a personality and method of speech similar to that of Jack Knight aka The Junk Shop Owner formerly a superhero formerly known as Starman.

Matt is my real first name, oddly enough.

well... to make a long story short~

AOL SN used to be babydoll, then i left aol and went to AIM and since aol dont like you taking your SN when u leave them... i became babiedoll... then through a few online games and what not... peeps just started calling me babie...

babie x2 = babiebabie

simple
"People add words when they want things to sound more important than they really are. "Boarding process." Sounds important; it isn't. It's just a bunch of people getting on an airplane! People like to sound important. Weathermen on television talk about "shower activity". Sounds more important than "showers." I even heard one guy on CNN talk about a "rain event". I swear to God, he said, "Louisiana is expecting a rain event." And I thought, "Holy shit, I hope I can get tickets to that!"-George Carlin

Half a score ago, an Indian maiden gave birth to a Wolf. Soon they were parted and he went on his way, only to tangle with a a Witch. Through bitterness and despair, his heart was blackened and he became Dire, and this way he trod through many years until an unfortunate encounter with a Vampire Squirrel left him full of holes...for a time being relegated to a Chewtoy with the consistency of a Wiffle ball. Luckily it was for a brief time before he was Dead. Unfortunately he again rose as one of the Damned and has been stalking the earth ever since.
