Look! It's green! It's shiny! Upload whatever avatar you damn well want to! Have a ball, talk about the comic, uh...tickle monkeys, whatever.

I will have a short list of rules later. For now, feel free to post, etc.

Yes, Marcos. We know. We've been thoroughly informed.

OTOH, I'm thrilled to see a new Keenspot comic embrace its new Keenspot forum. Especially since it's a comic that I actually read and enjoy *and* I did not spend any time or effort lobbying (harrassing and haranguing, really) the artist on the matter.

It's an event for me. Like the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Well, that dated me. :-?

Aeire, if I asked very very nicely, would you make me an avatar? *shiftyeyes* You did say whatever avatar you please! :D

Wow...
I'm posting on the same forum as Randy Millholland.

No, I'm not that pathetic.
Really.

In any event, I love the strip, Aeire.
Glad I have a place to curse you, though I don't see why I would.
Seeing as how you're not Dave Willis and all.

Oy, yet another message board for me to check...and one where accounts can be suspended for inactivity, no less. Ah well, that just means you'll all have to suffer my pathetic nature and short attention span more often.

I do find it interesting, though, that Something Positive and Queen of Wands were the reasons I originally joined xForums...and now one's forum-less, and the other's here...and I'm left with an xForums addiction in spite of it...figures. :D

You make it sound like the forums had a divorce and have split custody of us or somesuch.

Or is that "shared custody"? Damn legalese and its confuzzling ways...

All right, I'll post on mommy during the week, and post on Daddy every other weekend and 3 months during summer...

*edit* Glad you like it Eliot Fan. It has taken on a very literal meaning in this RP I am playing on another forum. AKA, we are guaranteed to die soon.

Yeah, don't feel bad. It took me several days, and I'm active over there. I didn't notice till i tried to post in a topic and couldn't. Then I read the sticky and got a clue.

You think that's bad?

I knew the new forum, as I only get to the forums through the comic page...and even then I wnet and checked the old one and hadn't noticed the sticky for 3 days. (Not that I could post here those three days anyway).

I think it was that there was a sticky there previously that was rmoved and replaced...or something.

It's kinda weird to see everyone talking about KS forums as a new thing, since i only started writting here since the day before yesterday...

New to comic and forum. I had known about QoW for awhile, but didn't start reading it until someone posted a link on another forum to the Charles Darwin and his "Chainsaw of Natural Selection". Anyone who thinks up something like that has got my attention.

This is a moment of my life...

Postby DecemberGrey on Wed Apr 21, 2004 12:27 am

I just wanted to spend a minute of my precious time to tender my appreciation to the talented and generous artist responsible for Queen of Wands.

I'm a complete newcomer to QoW, who dutifully trotted over here from the pages of S*P to see what was going on, and just spent an incredible time reading up to date from the very beginning to present day (This is what night-shift people do when they work all night with no supervision and nothing is happening...) and I must say that I am a totally committed fan of Aeire's beautiful, zany, emotionally-tilted world now, and look forward to following it with the same zealous ferver with which I read Something*Positive and Robert Jordan books (which he used to release with far greater frequency... *sigh*).

Thank you, Aeire. You are fantastic.

Sincerely,

December Grey

Same for me, I've been hooked since the beginning of April... Thanks to Something*Positive, once again...

Great work, and impatiently waiting for the next update...

Another new reader here. Lurve the strip - nerdy violent redheads have so far been criminally under-represented on the Nerd Wide Web. Aeire, have you ever had any kind of formal animation training? I ask because the strip really does have a professional veneer, and some of my more recent favorites have a cel animation feel to them.

(Oh, and FTR, the username's an acronym: Giant Talking Robot Monkey Pirates.)
