Josh is taking the easy way out. He's gonna have David destroy the town and the he'll just end Avalon without ever finishing any stories.

There's been some talk over at It's Walky that the gender-swap may have affected the entire area (or even the entire world)....any chance of seeing some gender swap artwork around here?

That's disturbing in light of what happened on sunday. Well, not disturbing, but... er moving on!

TG Ceilidh? Isn't Joe?

TG Alan? Isn't that Helene?

TG Ryan? Well, that wouldn't be too different...

TG Iain? Er, I'll leave that one for Neil to ponder over. Lords knows what might happen if that occured...

TG Pheobe - Just better ways of doing damage...

I could go on...

Well, technically speaking Ceilidh x Joe is what Ceilidh was going for in Summer 2001...

Appearance wise, I'd say Ceilidh-Alan, Joe-Allison, Ryan-Phoebe (A bit) Haven't seen any characters that look like a male version of Helene to me. I'm ignoring hair colour and to some degree height.

I dunno. Though composed of similar elements the faces are quite distinct:

Not touching that one. One Anne Murray is quite enough!

I gotta take that back. Although I'm not a fan, I admire anyone who can succeed in the music business and remain sane and healthy at the same time. Plus, someone posted a recent-looking picture of her on the Walky board, and it's apparent from that that she's looking after herself. That can't be easy in that game.

Of course, the best exchange in the cameo was:

Joyce: Why Canada?!
HA: I figger'd who'd f***** notice? Goddamn was I right?

A rather obvious reference to Avalon's update schedule, I think.

Heh, well, since the IW! story is more or less in the present day, this isn't going to affect whatever plans Josh has for his own story. But I would have like to see Robin try to crash-tackle a fully-alert Lt Page to get to the muffins. I'd like to think Hildegarde could clout any thief into next week.

Aaand in today's It's Walky!, we see that things aren't quite as they should be, but are as they were before, which is good enough for now :)

Yep, Avalon is back to "only frozen", and all is well with the world :)

Me thinks it's time for a new Avalon strip, be it only a character portrait or a new strip, doesn't matter.
We need more smut material :)

I was given a scanner yesterday, but not the power adapter that goes with it :( so I will have to source one out and then I can start drawing.

Psst, Neil. You may not believe this in this day and age of digital everything, but you can actually draw without any electrical power at all ;)

If I draw on a piece of tree that has fallen in the forest, and can't plug my scanner in, will anyone see it?

Oooh, deep 8|

You must achieve nirvana and then simply will the drawing on the net, and it will happen. You must be one with the net.
