Ha ha ha.

I'd like to send pin-up artwork, but... I'm not exactly sure what kind of pin-ups are being looked for.

Each year gets collected into a trade. Best of Enemies collects from the very beginning up to the "Hate" storyline. Our second book "Celebrity Poker Showdown" will collect from Celebrity Poker Showdown to "Undertow" which will run after "Tees and Cues," our current storyline.

Getting the trade gives you quick and easy access to the archives and supports us as creators :)

Anything you want, Ollie. As long as it's P&A related...and I'm sure you'd do something real nice 'cause you rock! :)

Could anyone send P&A-related pin-up? Also, what would the deadline for that be?

(hmm, tempting, tempting...)

I voted "nope".

Of course I would have, had this book been available in bookstores and not just solely available online! :-?

Oddtail: We're trying to have the book ready for the end of November, so the last week of November would the latest for submitting artwork.

Dannton: The books aren't available in bookstores for the moment. Maybe one day. In the meantime, you can always buy it directly from me via Paypal, check or money order. More info can be found under the Keenspot newsbox on the homepage (bottom right).

Think fan art but something that could fill a page nicely and stand on its own. Poster like. Most pin-ups are sensual but that's not what I ment really. It CAN be sensual but it can also be funny. Here's an example from the fan art page:

http://www.pennyandaggie.com/pages/pnabyredtenko.html

It could easily fill a page. That's what I ment. Sorry for the confusion.

Just came in the mail
I love the little sketch of Aggie :)
I'm so jealous, it doesn't even look like you used pencil lines and it's great.
Now that I have a hard copy, I can force all my friends who are like "psh, webcomics" to read it and love it.
*cue evil laugh*

Hey, Kash. Glad you got the book and that you liked the little Aggie sketch. For book sketches, I do a quick pencil outline to have a sense of space and then do the rest as a pen sketch. The quick outline is then erased. I sometimes leave it in if someone asks me to leave it in. So yeah, no need to be jealous ;)

So, are we encouraged to include background in this piece, or rather not? Better finish mine today...

Backgrounds aren't necessary but sometimes an object or graphical element might add interest. One could be sitting on a chair for example or next to a tree reading a book. Or maybe it's just the character (head and torso) coming out of a diamond shape. Stuff like that. It can also be just the character in a nice pose. Whatever you feel comfortable with :)
