*Claps*

I'm a Marshall fan, but that still gave me a really good laugh after a hard work day. Just wanted to say a little thank you for that.

:D C'mon, ye olde forumers. This place has been full of debate lately, let's get together and congratulate this artist for a superb piece of comedy.

[I'm working on reading through his comic- if I get hooked this'll be my 57th webcomic checked at least every week... O_o]

I find it annoying, because it shows that whoever drew it completely misunderstood Marshall, and implied he'd be getting married while still being "a kid".

I'm not taking it seriously at all. It's still annoying. (:

It made me laugh because I think Karen would've divorced him ASAP!

Well, I for one, didn't find it at all funny. Particularly, I thought it was unrealistically portrayed. Teague's stock rejection of heteronormative sexual relations in this piece suggests a strong affinity for nontraditional lifestyles. It is my belief that Teague is gay. And also crippled by past emotional trauma.

...No, only joking. It was awesome. :D

It's my belief that he was molested as a child and is now an alcoholic. No, wait, that's just American congressman who harass teenagers. What trauma fits this situation?

... I think he was kicked in the nuts by a giraffe at age 8 and is now a cokehead who secretly sneaks off to tattoo innocent nurses at the local retirement home. The bastard!

seriously though, the art: very amusing.

I thought the comic was not at all in character with the way Marshall has been portrayed in the comic, and I think Teague's ideas on gender are simplistic and wrong.

I also thought the comic was really funny. Well done, Teague.

I prefer to take it as Karen's impression of Marshall's stand on sex (after all, it's her dream), rather than it being Teague's idea of how Marshall would actually behave in that situation (hopefully not, but it's possible given Teague's views on gender roles and the like).

That said, it was still quite funny.

Ehhh actually I'm pretty sure that she's not dreaming, but that's their wedding bed, and Karen lying there in horror at what he just said.

Never thought of that possibility...
