Considering the nature of this comic, why is the spelling so horrid?
Also, why has it taken a month for anyone to reply to this topic?

Sorry about the wait on the response. I didn't think anyone cared to ask me anything.

The spelling is crap because unfortunately photoshop doesn't have spellcheck....at least I don't think it does....hmmm.
I'd appreciate anyone listing spelling errors from the comic here on the forum so I could go back and correct them, especially since I'm planning the books now.

Not sure how the nature of the comic suggest impecable spelling as these are Mad Science studetns, not Mad English majors.

I use WordWeb. It's a dictionary that runs in the background and enables you to look up a word in just about any program with a ctrl-right-click (or highlight and ctrl-alt-w). The free version works fine for my needs. Downside: it won't do an automatic spellcheck of a block of text, so you have to check each word individually. Upside: it's also useful for checking usage and definitions.

I just used Google to make sure that I was giving good advice. Apparently regular Photoshop has had built-in spell check since version 7.0, and tinySpell is a free spelling checker that runs in the background like WordWeb (so it would work for users of Photoshop Elements).

Thanks for the info, Scientivore. I'm gonna start using the in-program spell check for future updates and when I arrange the books.
