After one post having 'Blink-182' as number one, I shall conclude that there is no good music whatsoever.

Freeze Pop wrote plastic stars.. right?
I love that song.
haha.
Anyway,
blink-182 is great, I don't know what you're talking about.
I listen to anything from new punk, to old punk.
I mean, listen to Operation Ivy, fuck they're awesome.
They're like ska punk.
I love ska, Reel Big Fish is awesome too.

Yeah, and hence the sorry at the bottom, for the new music topic.
I can't find anything to do when I'm cross-faded.

Ha, I did the same..
NOT WITH LIME WIRE OR ANYTHING.

and.. okay, pop-punk if that's what you want to call it.
the bands I listen to actually embrace punk to the fullest extent.
Not so much the anarchy, but the fact that I don't give a fuck about what anyone thinks of me.
Punk is being true to yourself, to a lot of people, it's just about the music.
Have you even listened to Operation Ivy?
or Rancid?
Tim Armstrong(rancid)(guitarist - operation ivy)
he has worked with blink!
so.. yeah.

I have a hard time keeping track of my absolute favourite bands, but right now my favourites are:

1. Arovane
2. The Black Dog
3. Kaya Project / Seb Taylor
4. Fleet Foxes
5. Ott

I try to avoid mainstream music where possible because I know that it'll always be there for me on the radio if I need it. I'm sure that this is true of popular markets with good label/radio coverage like rock/punk/electro/etc, but it's even more so the case that electronic music (excluding whatever accounts for 'dance' at the time) is a relatively hidden genre of music. Grant, a stoner like you would probably get a kick out something like Ott or The Orb.

I can totally like do that visualization thing with Ott's tracks.
And yeah, a lot of the time radio music is shitty.
Like the girl rap of today.
It's not hip-hop! IT'S GAY.
hip-hop is Eazy E, beastie boys, Del The Funkee Homosapien, shit like that.
Not fuckin lil wayne, and t-pain or whatever the fuck his name is.
I was listening to progressive rock on shrooms, that blew my mind.
I missed out on electronic cause my friend said he'd trip to hard.
All in all, I love music.

New punk isn't punk. It should be going like this:

1. The Sex Pistols
2. The Clash
3. Stiff Little Fingers
4. The Stranglers
5. The Buzzcocks

Many others.
But yeah, good bands. (:
I love the idea of anarchy, survival of the fittest!
It's the only fair way, but that's why I like small government.. so no one dies, ha..

I'd like to stay inside the 70's if I could, but 80's are fine too.
Also Anarchy isn't "survival of the fittest" that's the popular misconception. Read some Bakunin.

What you're talking about;
2.
political and social disorder due to the absence of governmental control: The death of the king was followed by a year of anarchy.

What I'm talking about;
3.
a theory that regards the absence of all direct or coercive government as a political ideal and that proposes the cooperative and voluntary association of individuals and groups as the principal mode of organized society.

I am not interested in a discussion where we think we talk about the same thing, but in reality we talk about completely different topics. It would be like me saying that ducking is pretty cool, and you saying that ducks are the worst creatures ever.

Thank you.
