I doubt anyone is bold enough to try imitate Ed's masterpieces.

I know Cheshy said a while ago he'd take a whack at a couple of them.

Or should we ask Atlin first, see if he'll do it.

I guess it's worth a shot. Who wants to email him the script?

Still recording tracks. Would you like the demo's to be from Cheshy's script? That would make sense.
Seriously this imitation thing is hard. Like I feel like I've got it but then when I listen to my voice played back its just like "Well commander, that doesnt sound a damn thing like you"
Will continue trying.

EDIT: Ok so I think I just need to like watch loads of space tree and talk along with it. I know the lines well enough. Its just trying to get the different qualities of voices. Allon is hard. Slightly less air through the nose, raised larynx. But too much and you just sound like a southpark character or something. Geez.
Anyone else trying these?
Hey look a new signature I wonder if anyone will notice ;)

I will, but haven't got around to it because plugging my microphone into my laptop requires the sacrifice of either my keyboard or my mouse.

I won't be able to do the voices though, honestly I was looking forward to hearing someone else's imitation of the characters. I hope it works out, good luck and amen brother.

Also here's something I decided just now and haven't really thought through at all - http://www.wheresmyshoe.com/stecrets - check this page in a few days. Right now there's nothing there, but I'll upload some unused ST stuff later (mostly just audio).

Wow, that's awesome. Good to know that he still checks up on us, too.

SO! Now we definitely do need voices. Simmons said he was attempting a couple, Cheshy when he gets around to it, I suppose I'll have to attempt a few as well. Anyone else want to give it a shot?

As someone who lives, or at least lived, in the same state as Ed Adlin, I feel that it is my duty to all of the voices. With that in mind, I hereby shuck off this duty and pass it on to someone else. Maybe the next person who posts?

It was at this point that the thread died.

Well if no-one else does, I suppose I'll have to do them myself. Prepare to one day, have your ears bleed, boys and girls.

So 've been practicing the voices a bit but I'm not really sure what to record with. I've got a mike, but not sure what a good recording program is or where to find one. Any suggestions?
I think Mee's voice is the easiest but he's not in the episode :P I might be able to do ST/MT

If we do this shit, Mee will definitely be in the sequel. Also Audacity is a good program. Free to download but make sure you get the Lame encoder too so you can export MP3 files.
