I wholeheartedly agree, Flying Club Cup is amazing. Upon hearing Zach Condons voice in "Cherbourg", I loose all notions of heterosexuality.

My Iron & Wine knowledge is rather limited to The Creek Drank The Cradle album, though I am rather fond of it.

Yeah, I like Green Album the best. I don't like Make Believe as much.

Basically, every subsequent Iron & Wine album has had better production values. In Our Endless Numbered Days he got his sister involved and had did the thing in a proper studio, and in The Shepherd's Dog he started to do some pretty serious post production and sound effects, etc. Some purists didn't like that (mostly the guys who got involved from The Creek Drank the Cradle days, I'm guessing), but as far as I'm concerned it's still Iron & Wine.

The last minute or so of 'Cherbourg' is awesome, although I felt that the rest of the song was pretty much on par with the album as a whole.

Weezer Breakdown:

Weezer- One of my favorite albums of all time: if it's not perfect, then it's damn near flawless
Pinkerton- Takes a few listens to get (I myself got into it through "El Scorcho" on Rock Band), but when you do, the albums pretty good. Not as good as the previous, but what COULD be
Weezer- Weezer making a straight, short pop album. At times, it's on par with Pinkerton, but overall so-so.
Maladroit- Had they spent more than a year on this album, it could have been really special, but it's not. Like the previous album, it's OK, but nowhere near the quality of Blue
Make Believe- EVERYONE hates this album, but I think it has its moments. It follows the same "pop" direction as Green and Maladroit, but there's almost no quirks like on the first 2 records, and as a result, it suffers. However, it's not as bad as its reputation makes it out to be
Weezer- Due out tomorrow, what I've heard is Weezer having fun, making music; I'm looking forward to it. So far, it's really good (check their video, Pork and Beans; the "Weezer quirk" is back in full force)

There's probably more words in this post than my last few combined

So... basically their first two albums were great and good, and the three albums they've since made suck arse. And now they're making an album we're they're just having a bit of a laugh, which in all likelihood will be at our expense. Weezer don't sound that good, Stick :/

I'm not saying the last three were bad, they just weren't as good as the two FANTASTIC albums that preceded. And by "having fun" I meant they've added that quirky charm AND good pop catchiness from the Blue and Green albums.

I'm just saying that there's a reason they're number 3 on the list and not number 1.

Yeah I'm not a big Journey fan :), OH STICKMAN! You and I have such different tastes in music.

Also I don't really like screaming all that much... yet I like Devildriver. It's weird.
