Sate My Curiosity

It's not just a clever name for a webcomic... okay, it is.

Sate My Curiosity

Postby Judge Faust on Thu Jun 22, 2006 5:49 pm

It is hardly my intention to become the nit-picking asshole on these forums, but I find myself compelled to advance a query or two about the current storyline:

1) I assume that the club in question does not plan to kill Damion outright; he will be kept in the cage for a short period of time and let out before dehydration kicks in and sends him to an early grave. In this case, why is it necessary to "rescue" him?

2) If we assume the contrary (i.e. the club really does plan to make him dead), are there not professionals better qualified to make the daring rescue? The local S.W.A.T. team, for instance? If the guards are armed and hell-bent on murder, the situation calls for some heavy firepower rather than a dysfunctional crew of overly dramatic and mentally unstable quasi-children...

PS: Please refrain from petty name-calling and whatnot in the hope that this thread avoids needless deletion longer than my last one.

I'm kind of wondering the same thing.

I guess I'm going with the idea that the club isn't really out to hurt anyone, their idea of fun is just more extreme then Damion's and Lydia's. So they don't think holding him for a few hours is a big deal, but Lydia doesn't want to wait that long to get her boyfriend back. Lydia also knows that they're really not bad people, so she doesn't want to go as far as calling the police.

Considering that Tyranny is willing to let Damion out in exchange for a little music, this all might be more playful than it seemed at first. I certainly started this storyline thinking it was an emergency. However, I think I'm OK with the current direction.

But if he's claustrophobic it really is something of an emergency. He could hyperventilate, or hurt himself panicking or something.

I forgot about the claustrophbia. I suppose the club might think she was just making that up to get him out.

Can't you see he needs to get a heavy coffee intake ASAP?

If he doesn't, he will start singing Britney Spears songs!

I think Damion would rather have his head explode than sing Brittany Spears songs.

I'd put them both (I mean, It's not like "RAP" is a person and stuff) in a black bag and throw them into a lava river, It's rock, alternative and jazz for me!

You like JAZZ?

personally, i tend to lean towards more classical music, like Mozart, Bach and Rammstein.

Rammstein, classical music? Yeah, right, and Ludvig von Beethoven invented the electronic synthesizer! :smug:

Yeah, Rammstein is kinda good, but what really makes my day is music from Apocalyptica. It's like classical music crossed with rock music, It's classical rock! No, wait....
