I sneak up behind Fhqwhgads and start biting the heads off of any Peeps that have heads. MMMMMM... sugar!

What? They're better a little stale!

Wanna see something really cool? Light a peep on fire, then spray with any common breath spray. FWOOOSH!!! Some of the artificial colors used in peeps give the fire ball pretty colors, blue ones work best in my experiance, with the birdy peeps working better than the bunny peeps.

Okay, The_Stalker. I'm officially really scared of you. ;)

I love the sugary goodness of peeps, but there's just something really wrong about eating bunnies and chicks. Poor things!

Pulls out a basket lined with green plastic imitation hay and creates a nest for the poor outcast peeps, laying their mutilated bodies carefully into the basket and cooing over them.

Of course, y'all are assuming they're Easter peeps! They could be Christmas peeps, Halloween peeps, they make peeps for all sorts of seasons! I LOOOOVVVVE the Halloween bats; they're sprinkled with cocoa powder!!!

When I get back to the office (been flat sick all week) I'll find some of my peeps links. People do some strange stuff with them!

Mmm, melty Ghirardelli chocolate chunks and crunchy grahams with cocoa bat peeps. Luuuuurv. :D

*takes windmill kick to the jaw from Ryalyn*

Just illustrating the posters here sans 4th wall would be a webcomic of its own! Hmm. Sounds like fanart time. :D

I just looked up the word "brilliant" in the dictionary, and the illustration was a picture of you. Wow. And I thought I was on to something, making my s'mores with Hershey's Special Dark. That's just ... brilliant.

I bow before your s'morical superiority.

Theres nothing special about flaming peeps. Sugar burns quite well, and marshmellows are like sweet edible napalm. Also most breath sprays are about 90-95% alcohol, excellent fireballs.

Plus its fun to see little flaming bunnies and chicks.

Yeah, a marshmallow on a stick over a campfire tastes so good because the sugar caramelizes, same with onions in a fry pan with a little oil. Caramelized sugar, in a reduction with some red wine and heavy cream, mmmm.

Ryalyn may not condone your glee, however. *rubs jaw* :D

Peeps are good stuff, but I'm a cadbury cream egg devotee.

I bought a brick (literally) of Milke dark chocolate on the plane home from Germany a couple years ago...GOOD EATS...

And kinako....hee...good to know I'm not the only one who adds cayenne to chocolate!

I was born in Canada, but when I was 8 I moved to Spain...
I kinda miss the "American" Easter, in Spain we don't do much, although for the last years they DO sell chocolate bunnies and eggs, but it's not the same...

I want my Cadburry Cream Eggs! And I've never had a marshmellow Peep in my life!

I want a "proper" Easter...

Some of the foods I'll recall when my life flashes before me one day (far, far in the future :) ) will probably be from my trips to Japan and my childhood and young adulthood in Hawaii.

Japanese kids' sweets are just so

I finally found a place where i can get 3 different types of my favorite chocolate. 85% dark. Two French and one German (i think, i'll have to re-check). Strong and dark and earthy, with just a hint of fruitiness, and just enough sugar to take the edge off the bitterness. For those interested, the two French chocolates are Valrhona and Michael Cluizel.

Ooo, and I just found a place where I can get the MC 99%. Definitely going to need to try that one.

And kinako....hee...good to know I'm not the only one who adds cayenne to chocolate!

Heh. I love spicy chocolate. Slightly modified Aztec-style cocoa is wonderful stuff (spicy and bitter, but using milk instead of water). I also like tossing a splash of habanero sauce into my normal cocoa from time to time.

At the rate that these fana-tastic spicy cacao ideas keep appearing, I may as well leave my head a-sploded. :D

Habanero on mole. *splodes head neatly into handy garbage bag* :D
