Flash questions.

Let's say you wanted to make a flash series based on a typical comic strip. How long (I know it depends on a lot of factors, but I'm curious to hear a rough estimate.) would it take to produce an episode, and what would an acceptable rate of pay for an animator be?

Well it varies on:
-How long you want the movie to be
-The style of animation used
-The style of lipsync you're using (ie. perfect sync, mouth loops, loops with fbf on certain words)
-How long it takes for your voice talent to deliver the goods
-How much of a lazy bastard you are XD

Well, each episode would basically be an animated version of the strips it's based on, so I guess each clip would be somewhere between 3-5 minutes. As for art style, preferrably something like this.

I don't know anything about lip synching, so I can't reply to that point.

A couple of weeks to a couple of months depending on how detailed the animation was and how good the animator was.
You could do some tweens and looping mouths in no time, once the art was done.
But for some 'real' animation it could take nufty timeage.
