That makes more sense then, heh.

I didn't like doing her voice, but I suppose there could be instances where I could use her again. But I don't know about a main character....

If there's one thing about the whole series I'd change, it would have to be the pacing.

"Lost" is probably the best episode yet. I love all the camera jokes in this show. In this episode it was the walking joke and the "...THIS!" joke. And back in episode 3 the "Meanwhile..." joke was awesome, of course. The elevator scene and the "think back on all the good times we've shared" scene were funny too.

The one evident problem remains from last week, though much much less: length vs. randomness. It seems that it's hard to make long episodes when the plot is so inconsequential, by which I mean the characters don't take the plot very seriously and they make self-referential jokes about it. I guess "randomness" might not be the right word here. The pacing really only had a few minor problems in this episode, but that overall length problem was present. I say once you've got that nailed down -- and I really can't think of any suggestions of how to nail it down -- this will really become a great series.

I've been debating longer episodes and shorter episodes (by longer I mean about 7 minutes and short would be 3 or 4) because the vast majority of the internet users' attention spans only last 4 minutes, but for other people, they want more. I accomplished the "randomness" that everyone seemed to like in episode 3, and I'll try to do it again, but I think it will come together on its own. Same with the pacing.

Not bad. For the record, I like the theme song.

Heh, mic problems, eh? Well, anywho, that was a great lil' ep. I liked the elevator scene, and the obvious easter egg was pretty funny. But the not-so-obvious one (just so no one who hasn't discovered it finds out, I'm not revealing it...find it yourself :P) didn't make sense to me. Ah, but it got laughs out of me, which lately doesn't happen too often anymore. My sense of humor must be hardening. Or something. Anyway, since I'm left to wait until part 2 of this amazing epic comes along, I'm giving it a pre-judged 9/10. Part 2 gets the REAL rating. (dun dun dun.)

And get some computer headphones with the mic attached. Trust me, best investment I ever made.

I have..er...had a headphone mic, but for doing a cartoon, it doesn't do justice. It's better for like...games and chatting and stuff. Plus mine broke. The only reason this fell was because it was attached to my monitor by some industrial strength tape that can't even support a half a pound, so the mic fell and now it's on a stand.

New discussion topic: Episode 7.5, with special guest Nick Tiner.

I don't know what to say, so I'll leave that to the smart people.

That was long enough to be a regular geoweasel. Or maybe not. Wow my filler is like 30 seconds long.

Nick Tiner did a good job of voicing the characters (jimbob and mitri mainly) and the episode itself was pretty alright. Personally, I never had a hard time getting a hot dog from dairy queen before, so long as it had chili on it. Anyways, let's grade it...ADVANCED STYLE.
Goods: Nick's talented voicework has once again made a part on a webtoon, this time for all the characters...way to go! The plot was rather random, but funny.
Bads: Short, and it seems to borrow from the first episode a bit, which isn't all bad, but it's best not to look back too often.
Side Note: I'm not trying to imitate EGM's style here...but I guess I am, sorta. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the 2nd installment to last episode.

7/10.

I also enjoyed the filler episode. I thought that Nick's voices for Jimbob and Mitri were dead on, and his Weas voice sounded a bit like the voice he used for Joel, on that old AD post he made awhile back. All-in-all, great episode, though I agree with Brandon about the length.

Mmmm, not really. This couldn't have been over 2:30, but I didn't actually time it. Nick's voices were all in one file which clocked out to 2:07 after all the editing was done and the music couldn't have been too long. The more recent GW episodes have been around six minutes.
Actually, though, this was originally the plot (not the same script) to episode 5, which I cancelled (along with two others). When I started getting sick, I knew I wanted to do a filler but I had no plot, so I dug that out. The other two were too extensive for a filler.

You'll be pleased to know, Mr. Nar, that I have created a new and amazing theme tune. I expect to see it on the next Geoweasel, or you will be hearing from my imaginary lawyers.
